It looks like the first Nokia handset running the Symbian^3 platform will be the Nokia X10 if documents leaked via YouTube are to be believed. Looking very much like a Nokia X6 but with full QWERTY keyboard this is either a neat little mock-up or a leaked document. Read on to check out the tech spec and video of the Nokia X10...
Either someone is having a very early April Fool or a major leak has happened inside Nokia, as details of what is claimed to be the Nokia X10 running Symbian^3 show a neat little handset.
According to the documents, the Nokia X10 will be a QWERTY device running the Symbian^3 platform. Many of the other features seem to be very much of the moment, such as 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, 5-Megapixel camera with LED flash, a choice of 16GB or 32GB internal memory, 256MB of RAM, HSDPA support, Wi-Fi, GPS and support for multiple Homescreens.
Now, if this is a fake document we'd have expected the culprit to have made the device a little more topical by adding a Snapdragon processor. As it is, the pretty much standard 600MHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU is name-checked. So, does this look the real deal? Obviously, there are no details on launch or announcement date and there are no images of the OS in action.
Still, could this be the first big new Nokia handset for 2010? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
