In the future we could all be sporting Nokia smartphones that take their influence from nature or even military muscle. At least this seems to be the idea behind the Nokia Stealth and Nokia Dragonfly concept phones designed by artist Reginald Shola Hingston. Join us in the future and check out what the Nokia Stealth and Nokia Dragonfly concept phones have to offer..
Nokia concept designs pop up from time to time to wow us – anyone remember the stunning Nokia E97 'Envelope' design from last year? Well, a couple of designs by the name of Nokia Stealth and Nokia Dragonfly have appeared and certainly seem to be on to something.
The Nokia Stealth has been created by Reginald Shola Hingston with the idea of tapping into the mid-level smartphone user. Obviously it's fashioned after the Stealth Bomber and comes with ergonomically sculpted keypad with a rubberised surface that absorbs light. According to the design plans, the Nokia Stealth also uses a pearlescent matte colouring that gives it a dark red hue, which is supposed to be reminiscent of a radar lens.
If the thought of military might leaves you a little cold, how about this simple and elegant design called the Nokia Dragonfly? This is an entry-level phone with a big screen, candybar design and very stylish feel to it. Now, it's highly unlikely either of these handsets will ever see the light of day, let alone a market but still, we think they look pretty good!
What do you think, should Nokia be aiming at getting designs like this to market or should futuristic designs stay where they are, in the future? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
