Ovi-mail-2.0Continuing its roll of releasing excellent applications and software for mobile phones, Nokia has released Ovi Mail 2.0, making it easier than ever to access your email, sync your Nokia smartphone with your PC, and carry out other tasks. This comes hot on the heels of the release of Ovi Maps 3.04, and looks like being another impressive addition to the Ovi range. To find out more about Ovi Mail 2.0, read on after the jump…

Ovi Mail has been around for a little while now, and is an easy and intuitive way of keeping up to date with your emails on devices such as the Nokia N97 Mini. The latest version – Ovi Mail 2.0 brings a few more features, and also a slight change to the interface in some cases.

One of the biggest changes to Ovi Mail 2.0 is the inclusion of Arabic. Although it won’t matter to many people in the UK, it’s inclusion is a big one, as it means the interface had to be redesigned to accommodate it and the fact the language is read from right to left.

Of more importance to the majority of users in this country, Nokia has also included the ability to merge your mail contacts into a single list. This means that when using Ovi Mail 2.0, you’ll be able to view, edit, create and delete contacts. The latest version of Ovi Mail 2.0 will also make it easier to sync your existing phonebook with Ovi Mail and Ovi Mail Contacts.
