We were checking out Nokia Ovi Suite over the weekend and it seems that the latest update has hit, taking Nokia's central control on the desktop up to Nokia Ovi Suite v2.1.1.1. The download is a 61MB update that we found downloaded and self-installed quite quickly on our Windows 7 laptop.

The update is intended to fix a number of bugs in Windows 7 as well as make syncing a whole lot smoother. We've been checking it out and while the interface hasn't changed, syncing out Nokia X6 32GB did feel a little quicker and smoother. What's more, we found getting updates for the handset were also handled a little smoother.

You can either get the update from Ovi Suite itself, simply start it up and check out the Updates section. Alternatively, you can download it for free from Nokia Ovi Suite.
