Rumours on the Nokia Mystic have been flying round for months now. We initially thought it was the same device as the Nokia C6, but as reported earlier today, this now looks unlikely. What form will the Nokia Mystic take then? Touchscreen, QWERTY keypad or other, we take a look at some of the options after the jump…
With lots of speculation on the Nokia C6 and the Nokia Mystic, it initially looked like both devices could be one and the same. As we reported earlier today, however, it now likes like the Nokia C6 is going to feature a similar form factor to the Nokia N97, which is at odds with leaked images of the Nokia Mystic.
Initial photographs of the Nokia Mystic show a device that’s similar in design to the Nokia E72, with a QWERTY keypad and a simple, no frills style. Such a device is unlikely to feature a touchscreen display, aiming instead at offering a budget solution for emailing and texting.
With a relatively small, non-touchscreen display, battery life could be a lot better than many high-end devices, making it even more suited to business use. What would you like to see in the Nokia Mystic though? Features such as 3G/HSDPA may offer faster download speeds, but they also bump up the price and draw more power.
Would you prefer the Nokia Mystic to be a fully stripped variant of the Nokia E72, keeping the price as low as possible but losing out on functionality, or do you want to see something a little more innovative?
