Nokia X6 Leather Wallet Case Review So, you've bought yourself Nokia's latest and greatest touchscreen, the Nokia X6, and want to find the best way to keep in pristine condition? How about the Nokia X6 Leather Wallet Case, as this wrap-around case with built-in cradle is not only tough, it's also rugged enough to take anything you throw at it. Find out how we got on with it in our Nokia X6 Leather Wallet Case review.

The Nokia X6 Leather Wallet Case consists of a wrap-around cover with a magnetised press-button fastener. The back and front are padded, so as to protect your Nokia X6 but the spine is simply a double-ply leather.

Open it up and you'll find a leather holster for the Nokia X6 to sit in on the right-hand side. It's a nice and tight fit, holding the smartphone neatly in place. On the left-hand side you'll find a cut-out that allows access to the SIM card slot but considering you nee to remove the battery to get the SIM out, this seem an odd option. Especially when you notice the cut-outs on the right-hand side for the dedicated camera button and volume controls don't readily align.

Fortunately, the most commonly used button, the keyguard, fits nicely and allows you easy access to the button. There is even a cut away on the back for the X6 5-Megapixel camera with dual Flash to poke through. This cutaway sits better, thankfully, so taking pictures isn't a problem. We'd have quite liked a slightly thinner slice of leather on the front of the holster as it does make getting the screen and function buttons a little hard.

The left-hand flap has a space to keep a couple of business cards and there are slots for microSD memory cards, such as pity the Nokia X6 doesn't use memory cards, as the 16GB/32GB of memory is all internal.

At a little over £10 it's a decent way to protect your Nokia X6 from the ravages of wear and tear and on that score we really like what it has to offer. However, it does add to the bulk of your Nokia X6, so suddenly you can't carry it in your pocket. What's more, the layout and feel is a little too generic, making it tricky to use at times.

We'd like to thank the guys over at MobileFun for sending us the Nokia X6 Leather Wallet Case for review. It's available now and costs £10.47 (inc. VAT).
