Nokia's almost self-imposed period of quiet seems about to end, as plans for the Nokia C3 have passed through the FCC in the US as the RM-614. The Nokia C3 passed through the FCC yesterday, which means it's been passed for use in the US. It's a big step for the as-yet-unannounced device as it means it's publicly breaking cover for the first time.

Very little is known about the Nokia C3 at this stage other than it's going to be a quad band GSM smartphone with Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi. However, taking a look at the schematic, doesn't this handset look a lot like the Nokia Mystic that seems to have been floating around forever? If this is the case we can expect a full QWERTY keyboard, possibly a 2.4-inch screen and 5-Megapixel camera.
