Comes With Music: Nokia X6 16GB, Nokia E52 or Nokia E72 Nokia announced that Comes With Music, its subscription music service, is starting to roll out in China this morning. The interesting part of this move was the range of devices on offer – eight initially – as most are traditional Comes With Music devices. So, would you opt for Comes With Music if you were offered it on the Nokia X6 16GB, Nokia E52 or Nokia E72?

We've been using Comes With Music for close to a year now, in fact, our 30 day reminder arrived in the email inbox this morning prompting us to renew. Comes With Music lets you download as much music as you like and share it between your laptop and Nokia smartphone.

However, when the Nokia X6 32GB launched it was only available with a Comes With Music subscription. In this country, the launch of the Nokia X6 16GB did away with the option but in China it seems you'll be able to go for the entry-level model or get the full-fat flavour.

Add to this the fact the Nokia 6700s, Nokia E52 and even the Nokia E72, in the form of the Nokia E72i are to be offered with Comes With Music alongside the traditional choices of Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5330, and you have to wonder if these options will be appearing here in the UK at some point soon? The thing is, both the Nokia E52 and Nokia E72 have an amazing battery life, so turning it into a fully-blow music device seems like a natural move to use.

So, the question we're asking is, if you had the choice of opting for the Nokia X6 16GB, Nokia E52 or Nokia E72 with Comes With Music, would you take Nokia up on the offer? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.

Bang for the buck is the key with the X6. Also GPS = free with Nokia. Nokia is targeting the price/value conscious segment as opposed to usability. The IPhone must hit an innovation plateau with additional features in the upcoming 4G version only adding only marginal utility compared to the X6. I think the only downside to the X6 is the legacy flavour of the Symbian OS – which could be remedied by Nokia offering an upgrade to ^3 in due course.

It has to be the E72, just a classy package, great build quality, I can\’t emphasise that enough, you really have to use one to get how well the thing is put together. The X6 has fine features but it is a cheap plastic toy, in a nutshell, Nokia have totally failed again with this, firstly the phone retails for roughly £299 which isn\’t the most expensive but at the same time it isn\’t cheap too, it creaks like mad when being used and the back covering is woeful, a paper thin strip of plastic which could snap pretty easily, it\’s hard to think of one phone by any rival manufacturer in that price category which has worse and cheaper materials than the X6.

@pav I think Apple have a true game changer lined up if the recent gizmondo fiasco is anything to go by, last years 3GS was an incrimental update but the 4th gen iPhone already looks like a major departure from previous iPhones, from what gizmondo saw when they got hold of the prototype.

i’ve been using x6 for few days now and still is exploring the phone. i have to agree that it’s a bit “plasticy”.
the back cover seems so fragile i avoid having to open it.

@cacah. To be fair, how many times do you really need to open the back of your X6 up? With the SIM slot on the side and once you’ve slapped the battery in place, hardly ever – not opened mine once in the couple of months I’ve had it!
