Firefox Mobile has been around as a beta application on the Nokia N900 since the beginning of this year, offering one of the best mobile internet platforms currently available. Incorporating features that are more regularly seen on full desktop browsers, Firefox Mobile really does take full advantage of the Nokia N900’s large screen.
One of the most notable differences between Firefox Mobile and some of its rivals is the inclusion of the Awesome Bar. Start typing a URL into the Awesome Bar, and Firefox aims to search your history and bookmarks to come up with the rest of the URL after just a couple of letters. It’s definitely a boon for regularly visited websites.
Tech website Boy Genius Report also highlights Weave Sync as another notable feature in Firefox Mobile for the Nokia N900. This lets you sync browser information between your desktop PCs and your Nokia N900 – a feature that comes in particularly handy if you have a lot of bookmarks, tabs, passwords or an extensive browsing history.

We also like the look of Firefox Mobile for the Nokia N900. It’s more than capable of rendering full web pages, which is a necessary requirement for a range-topping device with a screen of this size, and web pages look great on the small screen. The interface is also well thought out, taking up little space onscreen and making it easy to navigate the web.
