Nokia C3: All The Official PhotosOut of all of the new handsets launched yesterday – the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5, it’s the entry-level Nokia C3 that interests the most. With features that we’re more accustomed to seeing on more expensive devices – such as the QWERTY keypad – mixed with a great price, it’s ideal for users on a tight budget. To find out more about the Nokia C3’s specification, join us after the break…

The Nokia C-series puts communication at the top of its priorities, with emphasis on text messaging, emailing and social networking. The Nokia C3 is an entry-level device that features Nokia’s Symbian S40 operating system, and is the first S40 device to feature a full QWERTY keypad.

To help keep the price down, the Nokia C3 uses a standard, non-touchscreen display that measures in at 2.4 inches. The 320 x 240-pixel resolution is the same as most other devices of this size, providing a good compromise between cost, image quality and usability.

Nokia has also updated the software for the Nokia C3 to make it easier than ever to get the best out of that QWERTY keypad and access your favourite social networking apps, with one-click access to Nokia Messaging. It’s also easier than ever to create an Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat account, with Favourite Contacts keeping you in constant touch with those that matter most.

Features on the Nokia C3 include Wi-Fi – letting you connect to wireless networks when in range, and Bluetooth – making it easy to connect to other digital devices. Both are a surprise inclusion at this price point, and are another great example of the way technology trickles down from high-end models to budget devices like the Nokia C3.
