The Nokia C3 is the super-new QWERTY messaging smartphone announced by Nokia last week. All we know about it so far is that it's going to be cheap – less than £80 it's thought – and brings the idea of owning a smartphone slap bang into the hands of the first-time user. However, we'd not seen it on video yet but that's all changed this morning as Nokia has kindly released one. Uou can check out the Nokia C3 hands-on video for yourself after the jump...

The Nokia C3 found itself being announced last week alongside the Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 and while it's very much the entry-level social media device of the three, its this very fact that seems to be the most appealing aspect of the Nokia C3, as it drops the smartphone into the hands of the every-man price bracket.

Now, Lars Lellstrom Nokia's Got-to-Market Manager has been captured showing off the delights of the Nokia C3. As far as we're aware this is the first video sighting of the Nokia C3 and it looks a belter.

We get to see that while the Nokia C3 is running the rather entry-level Nokia S40 operating system, the addition of a QWERTY keyboard really helps bring it to life. It's worth remembering that this will be the first Nokia S40 device with a QWERTY keyboard, which really opens up the market to a host of new devices.
