The Nokia C-series currently consists of the newly announced Nokia C3 and the Nokia C6, along with the mid-range Nokia C5. With Nokia’s new naming structure making it easy to figure out where each one sits in the range, picking the best phone for you should be easier than ever. Which one will you be opting for then, Nokia C3, Nokia C5 or Nokia C6? Find out more about them after the break…
Nokia’s new naming structure sees its phones numbered to highlight where they sit in the range – with 1 being the entry-level handset. As such, the Nokia C3 is very much the low-end device in the Nokia C-series, but also bringing with it a cheaper price tag.
Despite this, you can still expect to find a decent feature set, with options now trickling down from more expensive Nokia handsets. Wireless functionality is particularly impressive on the Nokia C3, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth both in place. Social networking is also a priority on the Nokia C3, with applications such as Facebook and a full QWERTY keypad making this phone a great choice for younger users.
The Nokia C5 sits slightly higher up in the range, and is a traditional candybar handset. Where the Nokia C3 uses plastic, the Nokia C5 is finished in stainless steel, giving it a more premium feel. You’ll also find 3G technology in place, offering faster download times and a better internet experience.
Currently sitting at the top of the range is the Nokia C6, the first C-series handset to feature a touchscreen and QWERTY keypad. Once again, the Nokia C6 is a great example of high-end features trickling down to mid-level handsets, with a design that mirrors the more expensive Nokia N97. The touchscreen display is great for internet use or watching movie clips, making the Nokia C6 the phone of choice for more demanding users.
