Batch Uninstaller ReviewWe get through quite a lot of apps here at NokNok, it's the beauty of being a Nokia fan. Loads of 'em - native S60 code, java midlets and web widgets not to mention python scripts and emulated MAME games and.. well, the list goes on. Trouble is, all this stuff can really clog up your phone. For every app you like, there will be a load more that are rubbish - trust us on this. Trying to clean them up manually is a chore, and a job we always seem to put off until the last minute - when our memory card is full to bursting. Enter Batch Uninistaller - n app manager that aims to clean up your installed apps in one fell swoop. Find out how we got on with our Batch Uninstaller Review...

It is a simple affair - just a list of installed apps that you can select with tickboxes, then a 'delete all marked' option in a menu. Tag the apps you want to ditch, hit delete and Batch Uninstaller will uninstall them. In a batch.

You can sort the app list alphabeticlaly to help find what you want to lose and there is a (potentially dangerous, we would say) 'select/deselect all' option for when you absolutely, positively have to kill every app on your phone.

Removing apps is fast and painless and there are none of the agonising delays that you get when using the built-in app manager, where you think your phone might have crashed.

Unfortunately, this version of Batch Uninstaller only supports SIS and SISX files, so if you have any Java apps or other scripts installed you will have to delete them manually. Its a shame, but the app is freeware and being able to ditch a lot of SIS/X apps in one go is still very useful.
