The Nokia X5 has been knocking around as a rumour for a couple of weeks now but it has now been officially launched, and will hit China first! The Nokia X5 is part of the music centric X Series and sits between the entry-level Nokia X3 and the high-octane Nokia X6 in terms of style and performance. Read on to find out more about the Nokia X5.
Putting music first, the Nokia X5 is set to be the first Nokia TD-SCDMA Symbian based entertainment device. So the good girls and guys of China will be able to get their hands first on this device, packing in as it does Comes With Music China, which offers all the latest tunes, as well as more localised content.
The Nokia X5 itself comes with a 2.4-inch screen, dedicated music buttons and a 5-Megapixel camera. At this point we don't know a lot more about the device other than it comes with direct access to Ovi Store, mobile video, Fetion IM, and Mobile Map/Navigation.
The Nokia X5 will ship in China in three different colours, Black, White, and Red and will launch in the second quarter of the year. Pricing is not yet known.
What's more, the Nokia C5 will also be making its TD-SCDMA debut, bringing with it a similar spec to the Nokia X5 but with a body styling more in line with the Nokia 6700 Classic. The Nokia C5 will be available in two colours: Silver and Black.
