Five Things Nokia N8 Symbian^3 Interface will DeliverThe Nokia N8 has been announced and sadly we'll have to wait until later in the year before we can get our hands on this new flagship N Series device. 'Why is that?' We hear you ask. Well, it's all down to Nokia streamlining and the Symbian^3 OS to make it sleeker, faster and the OS for the future. So, what will Symbian^3 offer: here are the five things the Symbian^3 interface will deliver on the Nokia N8...

We all know that Symbian is an open-source platform, which means you don't need to be some preferred member of an elite club to develop apps and get them onto the Ovi Store. This also means that when the Symbian^3 hits it'll be wide open to be used on a variety of devices.

When the Symbian^3 interface launches on the Nokia N8 it'll be the first time we've seen this OS in action but here is what we know it will deliver, alongside being faster and more responsive than anything gone before.

Streamlined Menu

The new structure will need fewer prompts and pokes from you, as it'll be neater, sleeker and more intuitive

High Quality HD

Symbian^3 has full support for the latest Full HD capture, playback and sharing, so suddenly the world will be a richer looking place

Enhanced Photos

The new image grid and transition effects in Photo galleries will deliver a large user interface that in turn will help deliver a sharper user experience

Big Band Sound

The new interface is designed to give you easier access to your music, bringing with it tricks like cover flow and enhanced audio effects

Visual Task Switcher

The new interface is faster and sleeker, allowing you to not only move about the Nokia N8 swifter but to switch between open apps a whole lot quicker

We're truly looking forward to seeing the Symbian^3 running on the Nokia N8, as it'll be a whole new, smoother ride. Let us know what you're looking forward to checking out on the Nokia 8 and Symbian^3, in the Comments below.
