Arabic tech site SaudiMac got its hands on an early Nokia N8 sample and noted that the smartphone’s packaging bore the legend “Nokia N8-00 / 32GB” – a pretty strong indicator that there is a 32GB Nokia N8 in existence, or at least that Nokia originally intended to bring out such a model.

There is some speculation that the “32GB” on the box could refer to the 16GB Nokia N8’s support for microSD cards up to 32GB in capacity, but we don’t really buy that – it’s not the sort of feature Nokia would give such prominence to on a product box.

So we reckon there could well be a 32GB Nokia N8 on the way, or at least a strong possibility of one launching at some point in the not too distant future. And that’s definitely a good thing: what with the Nokia N8’s much-vaunted 12-Megapixel camera and HD video shooting abilities, you’re going to need all the storage space you can get!
