Is the Nokia X2 about to appear here in the UK? This entry-level music phone has been announced in India, where it will be getting Ovi Music as an option. However, the Nokia X2 hasn't been officially offered here in the UK but it's still popped up on Nokia's official website. Read on to find out why the Nokia X2 is set to launch here in the UK.

The Nokia X2 is a candybar phone running the S40 operating system and coming with a 2.2-inch screen and rather neat design. What's more, for an entry-level device it packs in some pretty remarkable features, such as the 5-Megapixel camera and up to 540 hours of standby time.

The Nokia X2 was announced in India a couple of weeks ago and we managed to get a little hands on time with the device recently. However, we've heard nothing more about it going live here in the UK.

Curious then that a holding page should appear on the Nokia Online site. There is no pricing details, or dates for launch listed but with the Nokia X2 being on there, surely it's only a matter of time before it makes an official appearance?
