Ovi Calendar is a fantastic resource for keeping track of your meetings and to-do lists on the move, with the ability to view the calendar on any internet-equipped PC anywhere in the world, and also to easily sync entries with your Nokia. It’s also easier than ever to set up an Ovi account and get started with Ovi Calendar – read on after the break to find out how…
The first thing you’ll need to do before you can get going with Ovi Calendar is to sign up and create an Ovi account. You can do this by registering on the right-hand side of the Contacts & Calendar web page – it’s completely free to register, and is the work of a couple of minutes.
Once you’ve created an account and logged in, you’re good to go. Put your details into the Sign In box, and hit the Enter button. This will bring up Ovi Calendar, letting you enter and manage upcoming appointments, create How To lists and many other invaluable services.
As soon as you log into Ovi Mail, you’ll be met with the month’s appointments – or at least a blank chart covering the month. It’s also possible to switch to daily or weekly views simply by clicking the tab at the top.
To create an entry in Ovi Calendar, simply click on the day you have a meeting or event. It’s possible to create events that last several days, or for set amounts of time, with different colours showing up depending on the length of your entry.
The best bit about Ovi Calendar is that you’ll also be able to sync it with your Nokia, using the excellent Ovi Suite. Once synced, there’s no excuse for ever missing another meeting.
