The Nokia C5 seems to have slipped under the radar of late as we've not heard much about it since it's initial announcement back in March. However, that could all be about to change as at least one site is claiming it will be with us soon – next week in fact. Read on to find out about the Nokia C5 going on sale 24th May.
The Nokia C5 was the first device announced as part of Nokia's new voice-centric C Series. It's a candybar phone running the Symbian S60 3rd Edition OS and comes with a 2.2-inch screen, neat and trim 83g design and most importantly, A-GPS and Ovi Maps with free navigation for life.
We think it looks great, taking many of its design cues from the Nokia 6700 Classic, but with a little more power under the hood and a step down in camera to a 3.2-Megapixel CCD.

Now, Play.com has the Nokia C5 listed at £149.99 (inc. VAT) with free delivery, which is great news for anyone looking to pick this new wonder-bar phone up as soon as it goes live. It even posts the 24th May as the date it will launch.
It's not only Play who is getting ready to launch the Nokia C5 as T-Mobile has also posted its own Nokia C5 Homepage stating that the new handset will launch in May. However, they've given no firm date and no pricing details, simply the chance to register your interest in the Nokia C5.
All well and good we say, another Nokia handset for us to covet and the sooner it's launched the better. The thing is, while Nokia Online has posted a homepage for the Nokia C5, it has yet to set a price, a launch date or even launch it's own Nokia C5 pre-order deal, which seems a little odd.
We know that retail sites sometimes post devices with a 'dates may change' get-out clause and this may well be the case with the Nokia C5 here. Still, it means the Nokia C5 could well be due some form of official launch.
What do you think, is the Nokia C5 a great looking device and something you'll be wanting to get your hands on as soon as it launches? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
