Spotify, the music streaming service was launched earlier this year for Symbian devices has now popped up on Nokia Ovi Store. We've just tried to download it for our Nokia X6 and found it unavailable. The same goes for the Nokia 5800. However, you can download it for Symbian S60 3rd Edition devices, such as the Nokia E72. Read on to find out more about Spotify on Ovi Store.
Spotify for Symbian is now available to download from the Ovi Store, showing Nokia's continued support for other music platforms other than just its own Nokia Music – we can't see the same happening for some other platforms out there, can you?
Still, we've been checking it out and found that touchscreen devices don't currently seem to be supported, just non-touch Symbian S60 3rd Edition devices. This seems a little odd considering we reviewed Spotify for Symbian on our Nokia N97 Mini and the most recent Spotify for Symbian V0.3.23 update added Nokia X6 support.
