Official: Nokia C3 £109 Pre-Order on Sale June The Nokia C3 QWERTY S40 smartphone has hit pre-order for a great price of £109 (inc. VAT). What's more, Nokia is claiming that this SIM free version will be on sale by the 'end of June' Read on to find out more about the Nokia C3 hitting pre-order for just £109...

The Nokia C3 sits pretty in a choice of three different colours at the budget end of the Nokia C Series range, yet packs in a surprising amount of features. It offers similar design details to the much more expensive Nokia E72, such as the full QWERTY keypad below the display, and the large D-pad in the centre, and you’ll also find a great set of shortcut keys that place your favourite apps just a single click away.

The 2.4-inch screen is backed by a 2-Megapixel camera and you'll find 55MB of memory built-in and support for up to 8GB microSD cards.

Now, we've had a feeling the Nokia C3 was going to be the first of the new C Series devices to hit the stores and this morning we've spotted the Nokia C3 has hit Pre-order status over at Nokia Online. What's more, while the full price of the Nokia C3 is £119 (inc. VAT), you can pre-ordre it for just £109 (inc. VAT).

On the downside, it looks like the Nokia C3 pre-order is only for the Grey version as there seems to be no colour choices available at this time.

Nokia Online has also added that the Nokia C3 will ship by the end of June. Now, whether this is after the Vodafone launch of the Nokia C3 or after, we don't know at this time but surely it's a great sign for anyone waiting to get their hands on the first S40 device with QWERTY keyboard?

What do you think, is £109 (inc. VAT) a great price for the Nokia C3 and will you be placing an order? Let us know what your thinking in the Comments below.

    Hi

I placed my pre-order at Nokia On-line last monday 24th May 2010. I called them shortly after and was told my Nokia C-3 was in the warehouse, and this would ‘soon’ be mailed to my shipping address in London at which point I would be sent a traditional tracking number for the parcel.

This will be a low end model of the New Nokia series, hence the first to arrive in marketplace, however for the price, features and great looking new interface, this will surely be a popular handset, looking almost like a Blackberry, without the Business (and let’s be honest, we don’t like to carry work around with us)
