Nokia N900 Gets Jurassic Rollercoaster 3D, QuickPanorama Pro, Angry Birds, Sygic Mobile Maps The Nokia N900 is getting a little bit of attention this week. First we have the Nokia N900 firmware PR1.2 ( V10.2010.19-1) update, now comes a number of changes to the Ovi Store for Nokia N900, including a host of new games and even a new say-nav tool. Find out about the new Nokia N900 games and sat-nav tools after the jump...

On the 27th May Ovi Store will feature a host of new software for the Nokia N900 that takes full advantage of the Nokia N900 firmware PR1.2 ( V10.2010.19-1) update. The biggest updates come in the form of a host of new games. You'll find Jurassic 3D Rollercoaster, Zen-bound, Kroll, Angry Birds (level pack), have all been added.

Then there are also a number of apps, including Sygic, Weatherbug, and GoGadget helping you make the most of your Nokia N900.

As part of the Nokia N900 firmware update to version PR1.2 Nokia Ovi Store will no longer be supporting older versions of the Maemo 5 operating system, so you'll need to update your Nokia N900 to take advantage of these new apps.

The great news is that the Nokia N900 firmware PR1.2 ( V10.2010.19-1) update is rolling out now Over The Air (OTA) so you won't need to wait long to get your hands on the new software. Let us know which ones you've downloaded and used already in the Comments below.

Hello everyone. I have received a new Update frimeware 10.2010.19-1 and I’ve done with Flash on May 27. but I am very angry, I see different information that has made Ovi Store update applicacione and different games but I see the same thing as before, no different Ovi Store. Can anyone help me for this … or maybe there is still new Ovi Store. Thanks Kosovo

i see angry birds level pack 1, diabetic food tracker, and the panorama app. thats all thats new for me.

sygic mobile maps was available to me prior to the firmware update and all the other stuff from this article is unavailable to me right now.

hopefully we’re just waiting for some server side updates to take place…

  • schenegger

no new super games like rollercoaster and zenbound after firmware update for me. please help me :(

  • Mikey Bee

@schenegger They should be on the Ovi Store -they don’t come as part of the firmware update

Same here, after abt 5 days i have been able to upgrade to d latest filmware version 10.2010.19-1 via my PC bt i have not seen any of the new games on OVI neither see any of the angry birds level 2 packs..can Nokia just do these things in an easy way so that we can atleast enjoy d phone properly nd make owners of Iphone ashamed…

so when browsing the ovi store, i don’t see anything new but the angry birds level pack 1, diabetes menu planner, and morpho panorama pro.

sygic maps has been there for over a month for me…

other supposedly available apps include 3d jurassic roller coaster, ze-bound, weather bug, Kroll (what is this??), and GoGadget (??).

well, none of those show up in the ovi store listings for me. and none of them show up on a search either. but i DID find a direct link to weather bug and when i followed it on my n900 i was able to download and install without issue.

so, anyone who is able to browse to the otherwise non-routable pages in the ovi store, would ya please link to the pages here for us???

    thanks,
    -bit

the worst thing i ever did was purchase the N900…
after having this device for 6 months and still no decent apps or as someone mentioned “super games”
why release a device which has barely anything available for it, :s
After being a nokia fan since the N95 i will now be going over to iphone 4 where i know there are a tons of
sufficient and cool apps in there store,
ironically i only bought this phone for its gaming and graphical performance… oh well

I’m with Wayne on this one.
I bought the N900 because of my experiences with the N95 and I thought, it being the “Flagship” model, we would get loads of cool stuff for it.
We’ve had promises of 3d games, nothing.
If you own the “inferior” models you get proper OVI maps, not with the N900.
I’ve already got Angry Birds on my ipod touch, I wanted something new and fresh. Seeing as Nokia are obviously going to disappoint me I’m off to buy an ipod 4 (and a bumper case… lol)
