Nokia is celebrating the success of Ovi Maps being free for life on all its sat-nav supported devices by reaching out to those who may not have yet heard the message by offering them a free taxi ride. Black cabs have been set up in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow and for the next week all you need to do is flag one down and you're taxi fair is paid by Nokia.
Inside each black cab you'll find a Nokia X6 pre-loaded with Ovi Maps and overpowering the cabbies need to use 'The Knowledge', as you'll be able to check out the service for yourself and make sure the cab is sticking to the preferred route.
As well as the chance of a free cab ride, Nokia is also running a competition via Twitter giving five winners the chance to win an X6 16GB handset each day from Wednesday 26th May at 9am. To enter just tweet #NokiaFreeSatNav.
