The Nokia N8 is very much the device of the moment, and it's not even been released yet, as Nokia has been busy getting it in to hands of bloggers heer in the UK and also into the hands of users at the Nokia Connection 2010 show over in Singapore. This means there are plenty of treats around showing how wel it works, such as the HD video content. Want to know just how good the HD video playback on the Nokia N8 is? Join us after the jump and see Tron:Legacy in action for yourself.
The Nokia N8 has been busy this week. We got to play with the Nokia N8 in London earlier this week and it was clearly the star turn at Nokia Connection 2010, which has been taking place in Singapore this week. Those who managed to attend got to try out the latest version of the Nokia N8 for themselves.
The 3.5-inch screen really comes to life running HD video and with support for H.264, MPEG-4, VC-1, H.263, Real Video 10, ON2 VP6VP6, Flash video formats, you're not likely to be stuff for stuff to watch, whatever your preferred format. Now, the good guys over at Fone Arena managed to snap video footage of the Nokia N8 running Tron: Legacy, the re-boot of that old kids favourite from decades passed, which shows off the HD video skills of the Nokia N8 in fine fettle.
It's worth pointing out at this stage that the Symbian^3 operating system is still very much in development, so while there are stories out there dismissing it, we'd rather wait until the final version is actually launched before casting judgement.
Even so, we found the Nokia N8 is fast and furious at loading and running apps, while the video below shows how much of a media machine this device is going to be. So, what do you think, is the Nokia N8 looking like the device for you? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
