Ovi Store Game: Miluegg Jump Review We've once again raided the Nokia Ovi Store in pursuit of the best free Nok games. This time we've been getting to grips with Miluegg Jump - a sweet-toothed  platformer loaded with sugar treats and accelerometer skills. Did it leave a sweet taste in our mouths? Read on to find out how well we got on with this cute little game in our Miluegg Jump review...

If the name Miluegg sounds familiar that's because its the second Miluegg title to appear on the Ovi Store, after Miluegg Paratrooper. Turning our attentions to Miluegg Jump it once again features the adorable Miluegg character. This time around players attempt to reach the highest icing-topped platforms in a delicious cake-themed setting by tilting your Nok from side-to-side using the accelerometer built-in to your Nok (we played Miluegg using an Nokia N97).

The more platforms you jump on, the more points you earn. Collecting treats such as cakes, donuts and other such tempting morsels further boosts your points total. Naturally there's a few things Miluegg has to watch out for. With obstacles, moving platforms and deadly vegetables littering the way things get more challenging as you progress. Despite not being the most taxing of games it's still a gentle joy to play.

It's thanks in part to the well executed controls. As mentioned you rotate the handset to guide Miluegg as he hops onto platforms. Timing is key. Even the slightest movement will have Miluegg mistiming his leaps, resulting in dessert flavoured doom.

There aren't any extra modes. Instead players can submit their highest scores for worldwide boasting rights. And we must comment on the gorgeous cartoony visuals. Looks-wise Miluegg is a welcome change from some of the lesser, heavily pixellated Ovi Store games. The graphics are smooth, bright and pleasing on the eyes.

But is it worth downloading? It might lack depth, but as a worthy time-waster Miluegg Jump is a nice free addition to Nok gaming fans looking for something to pass the time on a long journey. It might use a built-in accelerometer to control it but because it requires only small movements you won't make a fool of yourself playing it in public.
