The Nokia C1-01 looks set for a UK launch in the coming weeks as the device has managed to bag itself a Homepage on Nokia Online. The Nokia C1-01 is a no-frills candybar device thought to be intended for developing countries but it seems we're to get it here in the UK too. Read on to find out about the Nokia C1-01 set for UK Launch.
The arrival of the Nokia C1-01 homepage over at Nokia Online means the budget device will be hitting these shores. Sadly, there is no pre-order page so we don't know how much it will cost here in the UK, other than the 39 Euros Nokia quoted at the time of release.
However, there are benefits to a device getting its own homepage. When the Nokia C1-01 was announced a couple of weeks ago the full tech spec of the device was unknown. So, the arrival of the Nokia C1-01 Homepage gives us a chance to check out what this budget device is set to offer.
We know the Nokia C1-01 is set to be a Series 40 device but did you know it'll come with 64MB of memory on-board and a microSD slot that can handle up to 64GB with ease? The camera is very much entry-level with its 640 x 480-pixel image size, making it a 0.3-Megapixel camera but it does come with video capture too, which is interesting.
OK, so the Nokia C1-01 isn't going to break any tech-spec records but with a talk time of 10.6 hours and standby time of 22 days, this is one serious device for those who place battery life high on the hit list.
The Nokia C1-01 launch with a choice of four colours, Midnight blue, Dark grey, Warm Grey and Red.
So, what do you think, is the Nokia C1-01 an interesting little device and how much do you think we'll pay for it here in the UK when it launches later this year? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
