Nokia Tablet With 3G, MeeGo and 9-inch Screen Nokia is no stranger to the world of the tablet and the multi-connected device, so it should come as no surprise that a Nokia Tablet running the MeeGo operating system seems to be in the offing. What's more, we could well be about to get a 7-inch Nokia Tablet or even a 9-inch Nokia Tablet. Read on to find out more about the launch of the Nokia Tablet with MeeGo inside.

We could well see a Nokia Tablet running MeeGo hit the market in the fourth quarter of this year. At least, this is the rumour being set by Digitimes. Now, when it comes to Nokia rumours, the website has a reputation of being wide of the mark, so we may need to take a good deal of what its 'analysts' claim with a pinch of salt.

It would seem that over 100 engineering samples have already been made and are under scrutiny by Nokia. It seems that Foxconn, the firm closely linked to the Nokia Booklet 3G mini-laptop last year, are the guys who have been picked to help develop the Nokia Tablet.

There are no firm facts at this stage, with even the report not sure whether the samples are for 7-inch or 9-inch Nokia Tablets.

If it's true and Nokia is working on a Tablet, then we can expect it to be powered by an ARM processor, which delivers enough power to run the MeeGo OS with ease. At this stage it's thought that the Nokia Tablet won't be launched as a solo device but will be sold in partnership with telecom partners, so we'll find 3G embedded in the device, making this a truly connected tablet.

What do you think, will Nokia launch a Tablet device and if so, what do you want to see from it in terms of specs – is 7-inch the right size or would you prefer a 9-inch version? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.

No i dont think this is the N9 just another device. Remember that Meego is for both phones and tablets. I would not be suprised if both are launched at the same time. Get your credit cards ready friends.
