The Nokia C7 has been outed by Nokia courtesy of one of its own development websites. What's more, the details it reveals are very much in keeping with the Nokia C7 photos we got to see the other week. Read on to find out more about the Nokia C7 indeed being a Symbian^3 smartphone.
The Nokia C7 has popped up courtesy of a leaked document giving us some vital clues as to what the Nokia C7 will sport. We can see the Nokia C7 will be running Symbian^3 on its big 360 x 640-pixel nHD pixel display resolution. What's more, it's set to be powered by an ARM-based processor, so will be ready to take full advantage of super fast graphics acceleration, which is one of the key features of the Symbian^3 OS.
When it comes to communications, we can look forward to 3G UMTS/HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth all being present. If you want to check out more details, see the leaked Nokia C7 document.
There is also a reference to a file size of 2048 x 1536 pixels in the MMS section, which is odd as the NOkia C7 was rumoured to be the 8-Megapixel snapper of the group. Now, whether this relates to the size of the CCD in the Nokia C7 itself, which would suggest it has an entry-level 3.2-Megapixel camera on-board, or whether this is the largest file size that can be sent via MMS we're not too sure – if you've a better understanding of these things then us, please let us know in the Comments below.
As you would expect from a leaked document, there are no details of pricing or launch date, so we'll need to wait and see what happens. However, it's clear the device leaked earlier this morning isn't the Nokia C7, so we may well be looking at the Nokia N8 over there.
