Qype, Expedia and Time Out have arrived on Ovi Maps, we noticed that a 'More' icon suddenly appeared this morning on the homescreen for Ovi Maps on our Nokia X6. Tap for 'More' and you'll find you'll have access to Qype, Expedia and Time Out.
Qype is a neat little app that allows you to see ratings for a whole host of activities in any location. From bars and shops, to the best radio station and even the best stocked chemist, as all content is driven by Qype users you know it's honest and to the point. Qype is supported by its online community, the biggest in Europe, ensuring that the opinions come courtesy of the 7 million plus unique users attracted each month.
Expedia allows users to geo-search for hotels and make instant reservations on the move. Those in need of a room can search by price or rating, get a full description, see images and then get directions to their chosen hotel.
TimeOut recommendations for seven Global cities bring the latest information for film, music, stage, nightlife, and art around town, all supported by their World-renowned reviews and recommendations. Launch cities include London, New York, Chicago, Lisbon, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Sydney.
