Nokia Bots Update Adds Contact Bot Nokia Bots is one of the more interesting experimental apps from the guys over at Nokia Beta Labs, as the widgets and add-ons automatically learn how you use your Nokia smartphone and adept themselves accordingly. The new update brings with it a new Contact Bot, which is even location-aware. Find out more about the Nokia Bots update and the inclusion of Contacts Bot after the jump...

We have to admit, Contacts Bot doesn't have the same appeal as Optimus Prime (or even Tweekie from Buck Rogers) but it's a neat new addition to the ever developing Nokia Bots idea. According to the guys at Beta Labs it's an adaptive contacts bar for your homescreen that works out who your most frequently called contacts are and makes sure they are always in easy reach by placing them right on the homescreen.

The location-aware Contacts Bot will even learn the difference between you being at work or at home and change the contacts accordingly. So, while it may not be the perfect app for anyone who works from home, it sounds like the Nokia Bot is showing signs of being an innovative app in its own right.

As with any Beta Labs app, they're looking for you to get involved and feedback your experiences with Nokia Bots and Contact Bot in particular.

The new Nokia Bots update is available to download now and works on both the Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 Mini smartphones.
