Is it the Nokia N9, the Nokia C9 or even the Nokia E9? No one seems to know what it seems Nokia isn't too happy about the latest mystery device getting an airing in public and has seen fit to wipe the device remotely of its OS. The funny thing is, the guys using the device were videoing it at the time so managed to catch it all on tape. Check out the last fleeting moments of the Nokia N9, Nokia C9, or whatever you want to call it after the jump...
Pick a Nokia Series, pick a big number and attach the two together. That's the game we've all been playing with the device being widely reported to be the Nokia N9. We still don't think it's the Nokia N9 as it's running Symbian^3 and not MeeGo.
At least it was running Symbian^3 until Nokia remotely wiped the device as the guys over at TechBuffalo were half-way through a video showing off the onscreen capabilities of the device. This seems like a shrewd move by Nokia but we're kind of gutted they didn't send a little on-screen note to say what the device actually was.
Now, we know this mystery 'Nokia N9' comes with a 4-inch screen so the full QWERTY keyboard is likely to a stunner for messaging and firing out long emails and while the use of Symbian^3 would suggest this is more likely to be a Nokia C Series or Nokia E Series device, we're no closer to guessing the serial number of the mystery device.
