Conspiracy For Good comes to London this weekend (17th July) and it wants you to get involved. The exciting new Tim Kring (he of Heroes fame) game will have you visiting glitzy offices, uncovering secret safe-houses and attending wild rock festivals on your quest to find out what happened to the Conspiracy For Good! Read on to find out how you can take part in Conspiracy For Good: Action 1.
Tim Kring is the guy behind the 'Heroes' TV show and with Conspiracy For Good he's working with Nokia to create a whole new gaming experience, one that blurs the boundaries of real life and narrative fiction.
The very first live event takes place this Saturday (17th July) and kicks off at Traitors Gate, Thames North Riverbank, London, from midday. We're going to be taking part and are pretty excited about what will be happening. All participants are given a Nokia smartphone equipped with GPS and image-recognition software to play with for the day.
The idea being that you'll pick up streaming videos and virtual clues hidden in the nooks and crannies of the urban landscape. Every lead you find takes you deeper into the history of the resistance and presents a new challenge.
All we know at this stage is what's on the Conspiracy For Good site: 'She has crossed thousands of miles, to expose Blackwell Briggs. Meet Nadirah at the Thames21 For Shore mud larking, at the Traitors Gate, on the Thames North Riverbank. Create a street diversion, so she can disappear in the crowd. Outwit the BB Security Teams as they chase you through the streets of London.'
We've been informed by Nokia there are still a few places left. So, if you want to take part, you need to REGISTER you're interest. We're really looking forward to spending the day getting to grips with the game and hopefully finding out what's going on. We'll be sure to bring you a full report next week – if we manage to escape!
