Symbian-3-on-a-nokia-e-series-deviceThe Nokia E Series is aimed at business users, with features such as QWERTY keypads making them perfect for writing out longer text messages and emails. They could also be about to get a boost in technology, with the introduction of Symbian ^3. To find out more about Symbian ^3 on the Nokia E Series, join us after the break…

While devices such as the Nokia E72 have proved perfect for corporate use, it almost feels like these models lag behind some of Nokia’s other high-end ranges, such as the Nokia N Series, when it comes to the latest technologies.

This could be about to change, with an interview on Nokia Conversations pointing out that “the Nokia E Series device portfolio is definitely a priority on Nokia’s technology roadmap. Nokia E Series devices with Symbian ^3 and touch screens will be announced in due time”.

Does this mean that Nokia E Series devices will lose their QWERTY keypads? Or are they likely to be used alongside a touchscreen – such as the excellent Nokia C6 or Nokia N97 Mini?

I have an E90 which is still going strong. If its large internal screen was touch sensitive, that will do for me. I’d like larger text sizes too. When I use active standby, SMS message text won’t resize to a large font.
I’d like all phones to come with ‘timed profiles’ and the ability to record conversations WITHOUT having to buy the software from a 3rd party.

e7, for me i want to see 32gb or 64gb plus micro sd, amoled screen with rich colour, usb 2 go, 4 inch screen, removeable battery (nokias do crash and freeze so you have no chance of a reset) swype (as on samsung), revamped ovi or plug in to android, twin micro sd slots, avi support, free adobe reader, full screen image caller id, a fix for portrait image and a landscape wallpaper image mode, lose the clock tap screen in corner tobring up clock its so annoying on n97…… hmmm what else???
