With impressive resolutions and optics, modern camera phones such as the Nokia N97 Mini are capable of taking truly excellent photographs. As such, it’s always worth transferring snaps over to your laptop so you can share them with other people or just look at them in all their glory.
You can do this on the Nokia N97 Mini using Bluetooth, and it’s really easy. First of all, make sure Bluetooth is activated on your laptop, and discoverable. Then you’ll need to choose the images you want to send.
Living with the Nokia N97 Mini
Open the main menu, and click on Photos. If you want to send more than one image, click Options, Mark and Unmark, and then Mark. This then lets you tap the photographs you want to sent, with a little tick appearing in the corner of the thumbnail.
Then click on Options, Send, and Via Bluetooth. If Bluetooth is turned off, you’ll be asked whether to activate it. Click on Yes. You’ll then be taken to a list of devices you’ve interacted with before using Bluetooth – click one from the list, or press More Devices to search for more.
This automatically searches for other devices with Bluetooth turned on and discoverable. Once you find your laptop, tap on it, and start sending. You’ll be asked by your laptop whether to accept the images – click yes to accept, and then wait for your photographs to transfer.
Using Windows 7, it’s possible to change the destination, letting you place your pictures somewhere easy to find. In Mac OS X, the photographs appear in the Downloads folder.
