The second part of Nokia and Tim Kring's Conspiracy For Good augmented reality story kicked off in London last week. Once again it was an intriguing mix of clue hunting and puzzle solving taking place in the East End of London as the crusade against greed continued. The third part, this Saturday starts off with a rendezvous at the secret Conspiracy For Good headquarters. Want to take part? Then you'd better register before spaces run out.
Last week saw the second Conspiracy For Good take place in and around London's Brick Lane right in the East of London before culminating in the discovery of a secret headquarters. And we were there!
Like the first London-based event players had to rummage for clues hidden amongst the streets armed with a Nokia X6 and the Conspiracy For Good app letting you scan objects for video clues, otherwise known as videodrops filling you in on each continuing part of the story. The second event had us hunting coded graffiti hidden amongst the walls of Brick Lane, listening out for clues in song lyrics sung by undercover buskers and looking out for signals informing us of our next course of action.
With the second week taking things up a notch we're hoping the third event this coming Saturday will be just as memorable. It begins at 1pm with a meet up at the Conspiracy For Good HQ at 91 Brick Lane, London.
Those attending will attempt to "find the dirty secrets hidden in the footage from the Blackwell Briggs operated CCTV camera system that spies on everyone in the City of London," as they "dodge their security to uncover the truth" deep in enemy territory.
Those new and familiar with the story can register now at the Conspiracy For Good events page. Till then here's a recap of what went down in the second week.
