what-is-ovi-filesNokia’s Ovi Suite is an incredible service once you start to take advantage of all the features – from Ovi Mail to Ovi Calendar – with Ovi Files being another service that’s well worth looking it. We’ll be bringing you everything you need to know about Ovi Files during the next week – join us after the break to find out more...

Ovi Files is a part of Nokia’s popular Ovi Suite, offering a safe way to store your photographs, files and documents online. It’s also a great way of sharing files, and is a brilliant way of transferring files between laptops without having to carry around a USB memory stick.

As with the other Ovi Suite services, such as Ovi Calendar, you’ll have to be a member to use Ovi Files – if you’re not already then simply head over to Ovi.com and register. It’s easy and, best of all, it’s free.

Once signed in, you’ll be given a free 10GB account with Ovi Files. Because your files are stored online, they’re completely safe should anything happen to your computer or house, and you’ll simply be able to download them to a different computer should the worst happen.

You can also synchronise files with your Nokia handset without using wires, with anything that you put in your Anytime Files folder being synced automatically.

A great service, we’ll be bringing you a full guide on how to use and get the best out of Ovi Files tomorrow, along with some top tips later on in the week, so check back here for more.
