Come Get Rihanna claims to be the “ultimate application for fans who want to stay close to Rihanna”. Although that sounds a bit scary to us, this app actually has a lot of useful features for Rihanna fans, and is also completely free.
The first thing you have to do once you've downloaded and installed Come Get Rihanna is to select the country you're in. This is because the app offers tour details, so it'll be a lot better if you're informed of gigs in the same continent.
Once Come Get Rihanna starts up, you'll be able to select from four different tabs: News, Music, Videos and Photos. You can also scroll down, and select from Biography or head back to the Ovi Store.
News sees all kinds of varied information – from the launch and release of Come Get Rihanna itself, to the official Rihanna Tour App, to details of gigs and happenings. While there are details on upcoming gigs, it's a shame Come Get Rihanna doesn't use the GPS chip – as with Gig Finder – in your Nokia to advise you on those nearest to you.
Clicking on Music takes you to individual Rihanna tracks, where you'll be able to buy from the Ovi Store. Simply tap Buy, and you'll be taken to the Comes With Music site, where you'll be able to listen to 30 seconds of your chosen track, or buy and download it.
The videos section of Come Get Rihanna gives you access to 30-second clips of the superstar's music videos. The photos section is great for accessing content that could double as a background for your Nokia.
Somewhat predictably, the Bio section of Come Get Rihanna gives an overview of Rihanna's background and rise to stardom. There's actually a lot of content, which fans will no doubt appreciate.
Overall, there's nothing out of the ordinary in Come Get Rihanna, but if you are a fan it's still worth downloading.
