The Nokia N8 still hasn't got an official launch date but it's looking like 26th August is the favourite date right now. What's more, it's looking like Orange customers will be able to get their hands on the first Symbian^3 smartphone as soon as it launches. Read on to find out more about the Nokia N8 hitting Orange UK.
The Nokia N8 is a 3.5-inch smartphone with capacitive touchscreen. That's cool in itself but the addition of a 12-Megapixel camera and the fact it also supports HD video recording and output courtesy of the HDMI port, means this is going to be one hell of a media device.
Then we have the Symbian^3 OS, which will be the first time we've seen it fully in action. What's more, it seems the Nokia N8 may well be made available on the Orange network here in the UK.
Now, the report over on Best Mobile doesn't state the source of the Nokia N8 coming to Orange UK, and a quick look at the Orange website has nothing stated about the Nokia N8, so proof is a little up in the air at the moment. However. you will find they have the upcoming Nokia E5, should a QWERTY smartphone be your choice?
Still, we're pretty sure all major telcos will be carrying the Nokia N8, after all it's the most important launch of the year for Nokia. Now, with the Nokia N8 coming in a range of five colours, how likely is it that Orange UK manages to bag the Nokia N8 Orange for itself? We're sure they'll pay a pretty penny for that exclusive...
So, will you be opting for the Nokia N8 on Orange or will you be waiting to see what other deals are on offer? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
