The mystery Nokia Box that popped up the other day is a global launch event for the Nokia C6! Not only is the new picture posted on the organisers site something of a give away but a quick look at the tags for the story give it all away. We were kind of hoping for a major Nokia N8 announcement, so it seems the wait goes on! Read on and find out why the Nokia Box is all about the Nokia C6...
The Nokia C6 features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and, as with most other touchscreen devices in Nokia’s line-up, runs Symbian S60 5th Edition. Although it’s not a fast or as smooth as the Symbian^3 OS on the Nokia N8, it’s maturing all the time, and there’s a lot to like about it.
The Nokia C6 is already on sale here in the UK but Nokia looks set to roll it out globally in an event taking place tomorrow (18th August) in London, Singapore, New York and India. It seems the event will be based around a series of challenges, no doubt making the most of the excellent messaging skills of the Nokia C6.
WOM World who are organising the event have posted the picture above which pretty much gives the same away. However, the Nokia C6 also turns up in the page tags - JamesW who posted the story has tagged the piece with the name Nokia C6, which pretty much gives the secret away – way to go fella!
So there we have it, mystery solved! They'd have gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for those pesky tags!
