Nokia World 2010 – What Can We Expect?Nokia World 2010 is now less than a month away and this year is being held in London at the ICC Centre on the 14th-15th September. We’re expecting to see hints of what Nokia will launch over the next few months, including the Nokia E7, Nokia C7 and maybe even the Nokia Tablet. Read on to find out what we can expect from Nokia World 2010.

Nokia World is the annual flagship event where Nokia gets to outline its plans for the next 12 months and also reflect on how the year has rolled out so far. With each passing Nokia World it’s become clear this is THE event for announcements.

Nokia World 2009 introduced us to a couple of devices that showed Nokia to be more than just a Symbian device provide. First we had the Nokia Booklet 3G mini-laptop that offered up a 10-inch screen, Windows 7 and an amazing 16 hour battery life, making it the most powerful and fully-rounded mini-laptop out there.

The other big release of course was the Nokia N900 with its Maemo 5 OS, touchscreen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The Nokia N900 was such a hit that it was impossible at one point to keep up with demand. We also got to see the Nokia X6, Nokia X3 and Nokia N97 Mini for the first time too.

The world has changed a good deal this year and Tablets instead of netbooks seem to be the flavour of the month, so can we expect to see Nokia Tablet, possibly running MeeGo, getting shown off for the first time? Will this be the Nokia N9, or will that be something a little more traditional?

Then there is the much touted Nokia E7, also known as the Nokia N9 in some areas, with its 4-inch touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard and 8-megapixel camera. Will this be the second Symbian^3 device to be announced?

Then what of the Nokia C7? The latest leaked images of this handset look amazing but we're still waiting for more information on this handset to be announced and Nokia World would seem the perfect platform.

This is all speculation at this stage as Nokia is pretty good at keeping its secrets under wraps. Whatever is in store, we’re betting it’s going to an exciting show and we’ll be there on the ground covering everything that happens.
