The more we see of the Nokia N8 in action, the more impressed we are becoming. With the release of this N8 messaging demo it is becoming apparent that Nokia has played an absolute blinder in terms of the user experience. The messaging app features smooth, kinetic scrolling and a simple way of swapping between IMAP folders that looks really easy to use.

HTML emails are supported right within the app and unlike most email clients we have seen on rival phones, you can use pinch zoom just like you would in a browser if you want to take a closer look at anything. The app also uses Portal Address Lookup - a feature which lets you access contacts on an Exchange or Gmail server even if you don't have that persons details on your phone.
