The Nokia C7 leaked out in style last week, but one site has already managed to run the rule over some of its core features such as its 3.5-inch AMOLED and more to deliver the first set of initial impressions of it. Read on to discover more about the first Nokia C7 impressions…
The Nokia C7 looks likely to be one of the stars of Nokia World 2010, along with the Nokia N8. Until then it looks like bloggers around the world are spreading the C7 word for Nokia instead.
Phone website, Mobile-review has gone live with about as thorough as you can get (for the moment) preview of the Nokia C7, before delivering a final impression. Mobile-review makes it clear that this is not a review, after all these are the guys who got in a mess with the Nokia N8 preview. Not only that, the Nokia C7 hasn't even been officially announced so how much of this is a finished product and how much is 'work-in-progress' is open to debate.

On the feel of the Symbian^3 device, the site notes that it's made from plastic but is pleasant to hold, comparing the quality of feel to a Nokia C6 or Nokia N97. The 3.5-inch AMOLED screen was hailed as "good" but the reviewer hinted that in a full retail release it's likely to be better.
Mobile-review also took the chance to test out the C7's media skills, notching music and video payback time similar to what Nokia says it provides. In theory the C7 can play back video for 7 hours, they managed 6.6, Nokia also appear to promise music playback of 50 hours, Mobile-review managed 49 hours, which is still pretty good. A Web TV time of 3 hours and 20 minutes transferred into 1 hour and 45 minutes, though this depended on network quality.
Closing the preview the tester notes that those familiar with Nok handsets will be a fan of the Nokia C7 in a generally favourable first look at the device boasting many of the same features of the N8, most notably besides a 12-megapixel camera and HDMI.
It's also reported that the C7 will appear in shopped in mid October or November, but we'll surely see more of it before then. Will you find it tough choosing between the Nokia C7 and N8?
