Ovi Store game review: Soccer Bounce Soccer Bounce is a football game where you must attempt to bounce a football as many times as you can without it landing on the floor in this surprisingly challenging free Ovi Store game. Are you good enough to become the ultimate keepy-uppy master? Read our Soccer Bounce review to find out more.

Upon downloading Soccer Bounce we didn't think it would present much of a challenge, but dive in and it's trickier to play than you'll have previously thought, adding a surprising element of addictiveness to it.

All you have to do is keep a ball up in the air using your fingers, but with (slightly) realistic ball physics reacting to each finger tap it gets increasingly difficult to keep the ball up for longer than six kick-ups (finger-ups?).

And that's just in the Training mode. In Training you get the solace of being able to let the ball bounce against the virtual walls of your Nok. It's cheating, but it's still tricky. Jump into Competition mode and you don't even have that. With no invisible walls, once the ball bounces out of the screen you'll have to start over.

Frustrating? Perhaps. Others will call it challenging. That doesn't make us any good at it, our max score so far totals 10. What we would like to have seen is the addition of at least one extra mini game to mix things up. Despite having two modes they're mostly the same thing.

It's very basic, Soccer Bounce is a strangely addictive little game that's great for wasting a good few minutes, but no more. Its difficulty is likely to put many people off from playing it more than a few times, but if you're bored on the bus, or train it's a neat little free diversion.
