It looks like the Nokia 5250 is all set to replace the Nokia 5230 and looks ripe for a pre-order here in the UK. The entry-level touchscreen handset launched last week on the Nokia UK site but had yet to go on sale. That looks set to change after the device appeared on the along with its full details.
The Nokia 5250 is a touchscreen candybar phone sporting a 2.8-inch display and Symbian^1 (S60 5th edition) operating system. Looking a little like the Nokia X6, the 5250 is just as stylish.

Other features of the 5250 include a 51MB internal memory easily upgraded to 16Gb via microSD card, 24 hours continuous music playback, one-touch music access and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Nokia UK pricing for the 5250 has yet to be confirmed, however the device is expected to fetch around 115 Euros, before taxes, so we could well see the Nokia 5250 costing around £100 when it launches, keeping it very much in line as a replacement for the Nokia 5230.
