Sticky Notes Touch is a handy free Ovi Store app that attempts to bring the deservedly heralded Post-It note to Nokia devices - because nobody carries the paper version around with them. Can Sticky Notes Touch do for Nok users what it has so far done for the forgetful? Discover the answer in our Sticky Notes Touch review.
Sticky Notes Touch is a simple app that uses your Nok's touchscreen to recreate the well known sticky reminders. Open it up and you'll see a collection of the notes in the bottom left corner of the screen. To use one simply drag it with your finger onto the virtual noticeboard. To change colour simply tap on the notes once - they come in pink, purple, green and the familiar yellow.
The note will then enlarge in size, taking up the screen, now all you do is draw or write using your finger. It works well, drawing or writing on the notes, the app is very responsive, but unless you've got fingers the width of chopsticks, attempting to write legibly is very tricky indeed. It works much better with the backend of a pen or any makeshift stylus you can find, although with time you will find your finger writing skills improving.
We recommend writing as short notes as possible. After all you have as many notes to play with as you need. Once you draw on them they stay stuck on the noticeboard until you delete them, letting you store as many as you need for multiple at a glance reminders.
Sticky Notes Touch won't replace your shopping list anytime soon, but if you're out and about and want to take a quick note or two of something as a reminder it's well worth having on your Nok. Even as a novelty. It's free after all.
