If you're a lover of the X Factor and don't want to be tied to your TV for all the latest action, the new X Factor app from the Ovi Store is ideal. It's compatible with a host of existing Nokia handsets, and will even work with the upcoming Nokia N8.

In our press release, Nokia was keen to point out that the X Factor app “will have four exciting phases that mirror the four stages of the show: live auditions; boot camp; judges’ mentoring; and public vote- each bringing new, exciting content, games and functions to keep you connected to the show”.

Including news, gossip, photos and videos – both of the acts and the judges of the X Factor – it really does have everything you'll ever need. The app is also compatible with Facebook and Twitter, so you'll be able to share content and views with your friends and family.

The X Factor app will be available to download from the Ovi Store later today.
