Ovi Store game review: TT Derby Challenge Nokia releases a whole host of gaming apps on the Ovi Store every week, so your Nokia smartphone should never be without some fresh fun. TT Derby Challenge is a horse racing probability game to test your betting skills, and your luck. But does TT Derby Challenge look as though its on its last legs? Read TT Derby Challenge our review to find out.

TT Derby Challenge isn't so much a game as a betting simulator. The premise is the same as with the real thing. You pick a horse (one of three here), place a bet and observe your chosen horse in action against the two other course on the race course.

At the start you'll only have $60 to bet with. You can bet anything from $1-$60, but win a race and you'll have the amount that you bet on more to add to your winnings, increasing the amount you can bet on forthcoming races. Lose a race and your betting pot will decrease.

Thats about as exciting as TT Derby Challenge gets, we're afraid. As we've mentioned, it's not a game in the sense you'd expect. You simply pick your horse, bet an amount and watch it win or (mostly) lose in a race that lasts mere seconds. Then repeat. It's incredibly dull and repetitive.

To be fair the game's Ovi Store description has TT Derby Challenge down as a 'Derby game based on probability'. And that's exactly what it is, a guessing game. It also describes the game as 'fun', something we're sure most Nok fans will have differing opinions on. Should you download TT Derby Challenge? In short, no.
