It seems like a lifetime since Pamela Anderson starred in Baywatch, but the  woman known best for her skimpy outfits is about to make an appearance in a short movie actually filmed using the Nokia N8. Better yet, you could star alongside. To find out more, join us after the break...

We knew the Nokia N8 was about the redefine the camera phone as soon as we saw the first photographs and HD videos, but we never thought it'd be used to film an actual movie. It's about to become a reality, however, thanks to stars Pamela Anderson and Ed Westwick, and a short film called The Commuter.

The Commuter will be shot entirely using the Nokia N8 – and having already seen impressive sample footage from the N8, we can't wait to see the results. It's not just a film for the stars, however, as Nokia is also offering the chance for wannabes to get involved.

If you like the sound of being in The Commuter, then there are a couple of websites to help you get involved. Both www.starwithpam.com and www.starwithed.com are set to go live, although neither were online when writing this article.

If nothing else, there's plenty of snaps of the sultry sex siren alongside the Nokia N8, with the star claiming “I'm really excited about the film and can't wait to get on set. I don’t want to give too much away, but my scenes are shot in a bedroom and I’m looking forward to going back to my Finnish roots and sharing my bed with a Nokia N8!”
