nokia-e7We've seen photographs and speculation floating around the internet for a little while now, but the Nokia E7 has finally been touted for launch at Nokia World next week. Could Nokia's latest touchscreen Symbian ^3 smartphone be about to join the N8? Join us after the break to find out more...

Nokia E7 to land at Nokia World?

The Nokia E7 is due to launch at Nokia World according to a report this morning by news moguls Reuters. The agency claims the touchscreen-toting business phone will be announced next week. Details are sketchy still but Reuters reckon two different sources with knowledge of next week's announcements have confirmed the device will be announced.

According to Unwired View, the Nokia E7 will feature a large 4-inch touchscreen display, and the photograph shows a slide and tilting QWERTY keypad – as with the Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 Mini. Just like the Nokia N8, the Nokia E7 looks like a Symbian ^3 handset, bringing better usability and a more touch friendly experience than current Nokia handsets.

With the Nokia N8 also set for launch at the end of this month, the addition of a new model makes it an exciting time for Nokia, and we can't wait to see what the Finnish company has to offer.

Either way, we'll be at Nokia World on the 14th and 15th of September to bring you a full report on upcoming models, along with all the gossip direct from Nokia.

I wonder if all these new symbian^3 devices will be upgradeable to symbian^4 when it is released. The lack of the ability to upgrade the os is one of the reasons why Nokia is bleeding high end users.

Not sur ot will be upgradable regarding policy of nokia. If you want rev4 then buy a new phone.
And In my mind this is not the only reason. UI is poor, memory is low, proc is underpowered, screen is little etc etc
