With the Nokia N8's launch just around the corner, it seems like app developers are doing everything they can to make Nokia's flagship handset a success. As such, the 12-Megapixel camera phone has made an appearance on the Ovi Store – join us after the break to find out more...
The wait for Nokia's new flagship smartphone – the Nokia N8 – is nearly over, and in preparation the handset has made an appearance on the Ovi Store. With an all new operating system to go alongside the snazzy anodiszed aluminium casing, it was a slight concern as to how many apps would work with the N8, but we needed have worried.
It turns out that not only will there be apps that are designed to take full advantage of the Nokia N8's Symbian ^3 operating system, but that existing apps designed for Symbian ^1 – or Symbian S60 5th Edition – will also work with the Nokia N8.
That means your favourite current apps, such as Opera Mobile or Sports Tracker – should all work on the Nokia N8 without issues, and there are thousands of other apps on the Ovi Store to choose from. The appearance of the Nokia N8 on the Ovi Store also shows that Nokia are ramping up for the device's launch, and we really can't wait!
